Disability as Diversity

Abstract

A nurse practitioner student brings a dog to class. The student describes the dog as a volunteer therapy dog that visits people in the hospital. The student’s classmates and faculty are happy to have the dog in class. The Assistant Dean is uncertain whether the animal might be prohibited by the no pets policy.
