Abstract
General management of pediatric knee injuries includes initiating treatment for the relief of symptoms; determining the suitable activity and timetable for an appropriate return to sport and activity; choosing relevant protection, if indicated (examples including bracing, casting, and/or the use of crutches); and addressing any underlying causative factors, if present, to prevent future injuries through rehabilitation and/or physical therapy.
