Abstract

The Radio Jove project is an education and public outreach program involving scientists and teachers from NASA and other organizations. This program supplies a relatively cheap kit capable of receiving radio emissions from the planet Jupiter and the Sun. The kit is supplied in parts numbering a little over 100, and the user assembles the receiver, although a pre-built and pre-tested receiver can be purchased for an extra charge.
