Abstract

Selective laser melting is one of the most popular AMs, which enable manufacturing components from the metallic powder. The aim of this work was to define the influence of the process parameters on the surface topography and physicochemical and mechanical properties of pure titanium CP Ti, obtained by SLM. The work presents results of SEM/EDS analysis, density, microhardness and contact angle measurements and surface free energy calculation as well as potentiodynamic tests. Based on the investigation, it can be inferred that selection of the appropriate process parameters has a significant effect on the properties of material.
