Abstract

Processing can only form the expected shape, size and surface quality of a workpiece when the tool works stably and without excessive vibrations. The stability problems, (similar to the general engineering practice), occur in relation to thin and slender tools. These kinds of tools are primarily saws, band saws and circular saws with large diameters.
