Abstract

Circumcision is one of the most common procedures performed on newborns and children. Substantial controversy exists surrounding indications to perform a circumcision. Providers should be aware of the normal penile anatomy as well as the potential disorders or abnormalities of the penis commonly seen in pediatric patients.
