Sustainability of an Educational Program Applying Lean Thinking to Its Value Chain

Abstract

The main topic of this research is lean thinking for sustainability and continuous improvement of a professional education program in a Colombian institution. The research objective was to replicate the models found on literature and to develop new one. The models are based on experiences of universities outside country. The contribution of this research was an innovation on the management of the institution.
