Abstract

This chapter describes common foot presentations to primary care, e.g., intoeing, metatarsus adductus, and flat foot. Most of these cases are self-limited conditions and need only observation. You will learn how to identify the conditions that need treatment or surgical correction. On the other hand, some other conditions always need careful history taking and further investigations, e.g., cavus foot due to the associated other conditions. Foot infections, puncture wounds and indrowing toe nail can be managed in most cases by medical treatment.
