Abstract
Crude oil resources in the world are gradually becoming heavier. Heavy oil processing is thus the focus of refinery process optimization. Based on the DTFB engineering platform, two reaction zones are established for the C-C bond breaking reaction of hydrocarbon macromolecules and cracking for saturated hydrocarbons, respectively. The IHCC process which integrates the hydrotreating process and selective catalytic cracking process for maximizing liquid yield was then proposed, realizing the transformation of the heavy oil processing from pursuing high conversion to high selectivity. This process not only improves the effective utilization of carbon and hydrogen of petroleum hydrocarbons, but also reduces the intensity of CO2 emission from refineries, providing an example for the integration of refining technologies.
