Abstract

In Chap. 3, we introduced the concept of a random variable and its probability distribution and devoted Chap. 4 to developing some of the important features of probability distributions. In Chap. 5, we extended these ideas to probability distributions for two variables, and in Chap. 6, we discussed how to obtain probability distributions for functions of a single random variable.
