Abstract
By nature, Engineering is a difficult field to study that requires rigorous work. However, it is also a rewarding field with great opportunity for innovation and creativity. Now, with advances in technology and the convergence of several scientific fields, it is a great time to be able to understand how things are made and how they work. This chapter is the story of a woman engineer who pushed her way through many challenges, adapting to different technologies and uses them to create several novel devices for the benefit of society.
