Abstract
This chapter is all about safely viewing or safely photographing our very own star, the Sun, using eyes only, Camera Only or Camera and Telescope modes. This chapter is intended as a basic introduction only, as whole books have been written on viewing and photographing the Sun. See the Chapter 23 section on this chapter for additional information. Information on solar eclipses is provided in Chapter 14.
