Abstract

In this paper, the work is dedicated to modeling and analysis of the distribution characteristics of stress-strain state and temperature in the vicinity of the contact region, analysis of the removal of metal during centrifugal-rotary processing (CRO) detail in abrasive discrete environment. Examines the interplay of a single abrasive particle with workpiece surface . The study is meant to explore the stress-strain state and temperature in the vicinity of the contact region, removal of metal from workpiece surface depending on the parameters of contact interaction (pressure force, processing time, sliding speed) which are associated with the process. The problem is addressed to the finite element method . Simultaneously with numerical modeling, experiments were conducted on centrifugal-rotary setup and the dependence removal of metal on the processing technological parameters was investigated.
