Abstract

This chapter illustrates complications which arise in control theory when control parameters have to satisfy various constraints. Controllable systems with the set of controls being either a bounded neighbourhood of \(0\in \mathbb {R}^m\) or the positive cone \(\mathbb {R}_+^m\) are characterized.
