Abstract

A left inferior parathyroid adenoma—a mass identified as adjoining the inferior pole of the left thyroid lobe—can be identified through imaging with ultrasound and Tc 99 m sestamibi SPECT/CT scans, as illustrated in the four cases seen in Figs. 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, and 7.4.
