Abstract
Bronchobiliary fistula pathology is characterized by abnormal and a defective passage between bronchial and biliary system and is usually caused by hepatic or subphrenic abscesses . It also leads to chronic cough by bilioptysis. The diagnosis is difficult therefore clinical suspicion is very important. Because of very rare incidence, initially, the diagnosis may be missed. When the presence of insist complaints, attention to surgical history about bile tract and not to neglect to see described yellowish sputum is essential for diagnose. Each clinic’s treatment method varies according to their experience. As well as minimally invasive methods such as nasobiliary drain or biliary stent via ERCP, there are also surgical options such as resection of fistula tract including liver and lung tissues.
