Abstract
This chapter summarises an informed view of the present and evolving environment and the pressures that exist and which have to be accommodated. The chapter draws on present and past influential works in the field of management, business and leadership education, identifying the expertise, qualities and approaches necessary if companies and organisations are to deliver effective and profitable activities for the future. Reference is made to the present and envisaged state of activities in the world as it goes on from the COVID19 pandemic, and relates the drives and demands that are certain to be required if successful activities are going to be able to be delivered.
