Abstract

In the paper, a circular slot high gain rectangular patch antenna is presented. A circular slot integrated patch structure is introduced to enhance the gain of proposed antenna. The antenna is designed on 6.7 mm thick RT Duroid substrate to intensify the gain. The proposed antenna has perfect broadside radiation pattern and high gain of 6.9 dBi below −10 db. The antenna is simulated using HFSS software at operating frequency of 2.4 GHz and exhibits good result.
