Abstract
This chapter is strictly related to socioeconomic considerations because these are responsible for the occurrence still now of these diseases in the developing countries. Pellagra, Kwashiorkor, and hypovitaminosis A are linked to poverty. Twenty-five countries possess 80% of the total relative richness, and there are 60 countries, which have a per capita revenue that could be defined as extreme poverty.
