Abstract

Fela Anikulapo-Kuti was a pioneer in many respects in the fields of music, social activism and ideology. And during his extraordinary lifetime, life and art were constantly marked by extreme polarities that reveal much about his uncommonly uncompromising temperament. This chapter evaluates his ethical conduct and principles.
