Abstract
This chapter summarizes research that can guide the integration and interpretation of assessment information that is collected from multiple methods and sources. It summarizes research showing some of the common reasons for why assessment information may differ depending on who is providing it, and it summarizes research on the various methods that can be used to reconcile conflicting information. The chapter provides a practical method that can be used by clinical assessors to interpret information across sources and methods that is based on this research. It also provides clinical case examples to illustrate the use of this method.
