Abstract
This chapter focuses on choices related to transition, post-school employment, and tertiary education for students with disabilities in China. The authors firstly explain the background and current situation concerning where students with disabilities usually go when they exit school and then analyze post-school outcomes of school leavers who exited Shenzhen Yuanping Special Education School in the last 5 years. The situation of two school leavers with disabilities who obtained different post-school outcomes is described to demonstrate how they exercised choice to achieve those outcomes. Recommendations for practice are given at the end of this chapter.
