Abstract

This chapter presents research results in model areas I and II. The results include graphical processing of total rainfall and rainfall intensity in Košice, as the tabled rainfall intensities from Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMI) (Table 3.2) were available only for this area. More detailed results are given in the annexes: C (relationship between rainfall and infiltration), D (rainfall total) and E (rainfall intensity). The chapter also presents the filtration coefficients obtained from the hydrodynamic tests, from the grain curves and the calculations based on empirical relations. In the following, a developed model to calculate the emptying time of the infiltration device is verified.
