Abstract

From past decades, Communication plays an indispensable role in exchanging the ideas and develop a better understanding among the individuals. The revolutionary concept of the internet of things has connected many real world objects and their environment to the internet and other wireless networks. In the near future, IoT aims to unify everything by transforming the physical world around us into intelligent virtual environment, which enables the machine to machine (M2M) communication. The main purpose of this research paper is to provide an overview of the different types of architectures available for IoT and the protocols that governs its functioning.
