Abstract
In this book, the focus has been on the regulation of the mining sector together with the social and environmental impacts of mining in Africa. Nevertheless, we note that there some key issues that are of interest to the African mining sector including local content and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Prior to giving the concluding remarks and recommendations, this section will briefly highlight key issues in local content and CSR in Africa.
