Abstract
Interprofessional collaborative practice among healthcare professionals is instrumental to the delivery of quality, safe, patient-centered care. Interprofessional education is not exclusive to students but also professionals in practice. This chapter provides the foundational knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for effective interprofessional collaborative practice involving nurses, radiologists, and radiologic technologists to foster better patient outcomes. Resources and strategies to promote the development of efficient teams are discussed with the aim of transforming the delivery of healthcare.
