Abstract

The recently updated WHO classification of tumors of hematopoietic and lymphoid tissue recognized early lesions of lymphoid neoplasm which include monoclonal B-lymphocytosis, in situ mantle cell lymphoma, and in situ follicular neoplasia. These early lesions or indolent lymphomas may have features overlapping with more aggressive lymphoid neoplasms. It is important these entities could be correctly diagnosed to avoid overtreatment.
