Abstract
USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination) sponsored by FSMB (Federation of State Medical Boards) and NBME (National Board of Medical Examiners) is a three-step key examination to get medical licensure in the United States. The key to preparation is the practice of the materials like UWorld self-assessment, first aid, and NBME self-assessments before actually giving the exam. The best time to start giving exams is medical school year 2 or 3, which makes an international applicant at par with an American medical graduate. Herein, we described in detail the testing format and tips for the best time period to take the exam so as to score the best.
