Abstract
Medical School Performance Evaluation (MSPE) is one of the essential documents required for the residency application. Most international medical schools are unaware of this document as it is not a part of the regular curriculum. This chapter aims to explain the content of the MSPE according to the AAMC recommended guidelines. We have also added a sample MSPE for better understanding of this letter. International medical graduates can use this sample to get an idea of the letter. It is mandatory to submit this letter for the residency application. Most residency program directors go through the MSPE in order to assess the applicant’s performance during the medical school.
