Abstract

It is not easy to think rationally about how humans treat each other and the environment upon which they depend. If you are not suffering, are you to blame for those who are? I personally have skirted serious consideration of parts of these questions for quite some time because of my fears, my avoidance of guilt, and my being overwhelmed by the enormity of the issues. Still, I will attempt to answer these questions bringing as many facts and as much logic as possible to bear on the issues. The response of the reader can be kill the messenger, ignore the facts, or consider what humanity can do about these problems. I am optimistic that the reader is the later of these.
