Abstract

Adnexa of the eye consist of the lids, lacrimal system and orbit. Various pathologies can occur at the adnexa, including infection, inflammation, benign or malignant tumour formation, and vascular abnormality. While many of these pathologies are localized in the adnexa, some may point to the presence of an underlying systemic disease, and some may even be life-threatening. This chapter aims to discuss the presentation and management of some commonly seen pathologies of the adnexa.
