Abstract
Chrisila Maida attended The New School and is now working as a book designer. She was inspired to create a dust jacket for Wide Sargasso Sea and when she shared her work with the editors of this volume we wanted to include it in our coverage of the ongoing influence of Rhys’s novel on writers, critics, and artists alike. In this interview, Elaine Savory talks to Maida about her artwork and how it interprets Wide Sargasso Sea. Her beautiful image now graces the cover of this volume.
