Abstract
The previous chapters have reviewed the history, the present, and some of the trends in which BCIs are expected to evolve. We have seen a formidable acceleration in our ability to apply technologies to neural disorders. It is now certain that the era of the “age of technology “ is only starting and what has been achieved so far is only the very beginning of a technical revolution. On purpose, this chapter is titled “Dreamers,” because we believe that the vision of scientists, technologists, and entrepreneurs, even if first perceived as unrealistic, will lead the way to further disruptive achievements. The ambitious long-term perspectives of dreamers are the fuel to the development of the future BCIs. Not a long time ago, what is concretely realized today was deemed as being utopia. Let’s assume that today’s dream will very soon turn true.
