Abstract
This chapter emphasizes the central importance of primary care providers to create a medical home and reviews common problems that present themselves to you by age, from birth to 5 years (hearing, vision, sleep, feeding, constipation, toilet training tantrums, dental, and seizures), school age (inattention, anxiety, friendships, handwriting, fine motor delays, community, working with schools, homeschooling) and adolescence (friendships, bullying, sexuality, dating, driving, suicidality, regression), viewed through the lens of autism.
