This chapter reviews the broad categories of airspace disease. Their imaging findings and pathophysiologic bases are discussed. Broad differential diagnoses are populated for common nonspecific radiologic findings across the spectrum of airspace disease, including infectious, inflammatory, neoplastic, and other etiologies. Common descriptive terms are discussed.
