Exploring Betty A. Reardon’s Perspective on Peace Education

Part of the book series: Pioneers in Arts, Humanities, Science, Engineering, Practice ((PAHSEP,volume 20))

Abstract

Reardon argues that the achievement of peace and justice cannot be realized without a fundamental change “in the distribution and locus of power in the world order and the global economic system”, and that a “democratic redistribution of power,” is a necessary condition for its realization (Reardon 2018).
