Abstract
This chapter proposes a first set of aggregate results based on the empirical data collected. It analyses the infrastructure assets and the flow dynamics of the Sella Pass mobility space based on documentary material and secondary data; it studies the spatial and temporal features of fourteen journey experiences through video-ethnographic and bio-sensing data; finally it carefully describes the physical, social, sensory and emotional aspects of these experiences. Cycling and motorcycling journeys are finally classified as escapist (immersive and active) eudaimonic experiences.
The great art of life is sensation, to feel that we exist, even in pain.
Lord Byron (1788–1824; 1813)

Notes
- 1.
In the winter seasons tourism flows are much higher than traffic on the passes, because tourists visit Sella Pass and make the Sellaronda tour by skiing.
