Competitiveness is the invisible hand, along with globalization that is governed by the visible hand of governability. How do we say that? Once you read through this chapter, you will realize that statement to be a fact. For a note, competitiveness is a newly evolved concept when compared to the concepts of governability and globalization. Therefore, we would not be discussing it from a historical perspective unlike the other two disruptive forces of our framework. But before we dwell into the relationship, let us first understand the concept of competitiveness, its importance, and how it is measured.
