Abstract
This chapter explains evidence-based practices and describes both Comprehensive Treatment Models (CTMs) and Focused Intervention Practices (FIP). Technology-Aided Instruction and Intervention is described along with many other evidence-based practices that are supported by research on autism spectrum disorder. A total of 27 focused intervention practices are listed to provide families, teachers, and service providers with an initial point of reference for initiating research on interventions in autism.
