Abstract
This chapter uses the perspectives of cultural psychology and psycholinguistics to examine traditional methods of promoting peace in Southeast Nigeria. The chapter illustrates the implementation of these methods in times of relative peace and show their utility during crisis periods. Finally, within this chapter, the authors also compare the Southeast Nigerian approaches to peace promotion.
