Abstract
This call to arms could act as inspiration for this book enabling me to comprehend the various challenges and complexities of the academy, and consider how we can construct solidarity and inclusion in an exclusive institution. The pace at which universities have succumbed to brutal neoliberal practices is startling. In 2017 university staff members and students took a stand against on-going disputes over pensions.
