Abstract

This chapter is based on interviews conducted with members of the SLMC leadership. The interviews are categorized and analyzed according to different themes. Firstly, informants’ views of the earlier history of the SLMC are presented. Thereafter follow their views on: the organization itself, on women, on the present political situation, and on the role of Islam in the party.
