Abstract
Sometimes, the patients are neonates or infants, and to administer an oral drug in neonates or infants is not easy. Sometimes, the patients simply cannot swallow. Because of this, a good option is to create extemporaneous preparations for those cases. An oncology pharmacist is the professional who is able to do this, with prescription from a pediatric oncologist physician, using the specific chemotherapy vertical flow equipment [3].
