Abstract
Urban green space includes vegetated areas in cities, such as parks, forests, gardens, and greenways (Taylor and Hochuli in Landscape Urban Plann 158:25–38, 2017). The presence of urban green space and the contact with nature these spaces offer play an important role in human health promotion and urban sustainability. For instance, green space provides a number of resources and benefits to humans, which are often described as ecosystem services.
