Abstract

The international community has played an important role in the process leading to the emergence of the state of Kosovo before and after 2008. This book argues that the centrality of this role falls in the legal perspective on which Kosovo’s claim to statehood should be viewed. The ‘international element’ therefore is observed to be in a significant acting mode since the end of the war until the recent days.
