Abstract
This chapter introduces the seven main principles of business analysis. The principles introduced are about considering the entire life-cycle, seeking root causes rather than symptoms, generating creative solutions, improving the business and not only the IT systems, taking the customer perspective, aiming for feasibility and not perfection, and finally, working with mediation. The chapter is concluded by introducing a method by which analyst can improve their analysis skills.
