Abstract
The group of Macha craters, located in central Siberia near the Lena River and 650 km northeast of Lake Baikal, is formed by five-crater depressions with the two biggest ones, 300 and 180 m in diameter, forming a double depression filled with water. The target rocks are sedimentary rocks of late Proterozoic age covered with early quaternary sand strata about 80 m thick.
