Abstract
In the last decade the number of cloud services has grown significantly. However, it is still a challenge for enterprises to describe functional requirements in a user-friendly way in order to select cloud services. This study introduces an approach to increase the practical relevance of business IT alignment research. We integrate insights from organizational buying behaviour into enterprise architecture modeling. The result consists of a concept and web-based platform. It enables business users without expert knowledge in modeling to exploit the potential of enterprise architecture for cloud service selection.
