Abstract
Johanson identifies the most important parts of the society. Economy deals with the market exchange, polity is preoccupied with regulating the society, and civil society enables continuous patterns of interaction among citizens. The difficulties of governing societies might originate from the problems within one area of society or from the incompatibility of parts. The separation of politics and administration is one of the most important features dictating the capacity of the government.
