Abstract

It has been explained that anti-corruption efforts comprise (i) a reactive approach such as developing legal frameworks that criminalize and punish corruption, (ii) a preventive approach which includes anti-corruption reforms, establishing anti-corruption institutions and building national integrity systems, and (iii) a pro-active and ethical values-based approach.
